Impacting literacy at home during the Covid-19 crisis, book by book.

Donate Money

During the novel Coronavirus crisis, supplying families with books at home is more important than ever. Nashville book connection is working with our East Nashville partner school and local literacy initiatives to meet the specific needs of MNPS students.

As we weather the challenge together, all donations will go towards supporting local literacy initiatives working together to distribute books to MNPS families during this unprecedented time.

Your donations will continue to go toward buying new and very gently used books children ARE EXCITED to read!

Donating money to our efforts will allow us to buy our curated list of books from a discounted book vendor. You can donate to our GoFundMe below. If you are interested in talking privately about donations, please contact us here.

Especially during crisis, this program is about connection. It’s about kids connecting with books, it’s about families connecting over reading, and it’s about communities connecting over shared favorite books from childhood through adulthood.

Our vision is to impact literacy by building home libraries full of meaningful, intentionally chosen, diverse texts across Nashville.

Books are vital, now more than ever.

Thank you. We could not do this without community investment.
