Submit your student interest form below by September 13th.
In order to grow home libraries full of books your students are excited to read, we need your help to hear their voices.
Tell us about your students.
Our team of educators knows that every class is full of students each with their own stories, with their own interests, and their own connections to reading. We know a lot about what students like to read, but no one knows your students like you do.
Please use the prompts and example comments below to paint a picture of your students. This is your space to share student insights, ask us for book recommendations, request titles/authors, and address individual and classroom needs. Please include ANY special requests you have. If information about students needs updating along the way, simply submit another request.
Example:
Jonathan (picture book reader) loves space. Alex (early reader) wants to be a basketball player. Shana likes art. I have 4 students who love princesses. I have a student who just lost her father, and she is struggling. Could you give her some books that might help distract her and/or maybe help her with her grief? I have a boy whose family moves around a lot; this is his 2nd school this year. My class loves Mo Willems. I also have 3 readers who are ready for middle school level books. Do you have any book series recommendations for Diamond to read to her sister in pre-K?
The more information we have on student interest/need, the more targeted our NBC book collections will be.
